David Coultard

Exercise Physiologist

My name is David, and I am an Accredited Exercise Physiologist with seven years of experience helping people improve their health, independence, and quality of life. I completed my four-year Exercise Physiology degree at the University of Queensland in 2018 and spent five years working in private practice in Brisbane before returning home to Far North Queensland.

Returning to FNQ has given me the opportunity to combine my professional passion with my love of the outdoors and community. Outside of work, you’ll often find me fishing, camping, playing cricket, or enjoying a round of golf—activities that keep me active and connected to the lifestyle I value.

I have a particular passion for working with older adults and people living with disability. I believe everyone deserves the opportunity to maintain their health, independence, and enjoyment of life, regardless of age or circumstance. My aim is to provide personalised, evidence-based exercise programs that not only improve physical function but also build confidence and support people to live life to the fullest.

One of the most rewarding aspects of being an Exercise Physiologist is seeing clients overcome challenges and achieve goals they may not have thought possible. I am committed to working collaboratively with each individual to create a safe, supportive, and tailored approach that meets their unique needs and helps them lead a healthier, more active life.
